Hope you’ve all had a lovely week, 🙂
As I said in my last blog it was my Lovely Hubbys birthday last weekend so we popped up to London for a few days, spent some time with our Son looking, around Covent Garden (Loved it) saw ‘Les Miserables’ and had Lunch with my Brother-in-law and his partner, I love family time, almost as much as my other love ‘crafting’.
Anyway less of the rambling and onto Crafting 😉 it’s been another busy week in the life of Jilly’s creative corner, I started the week with a 1-2-1 with my very talented friend Hayley, she wanted to make a Mothers day card and she also wanted to learn how to heat emboss, so I took the big butterfly stamp ‘Swallowtail’ and showed her how to heat emboss it onto Shimmery white C/S then we had some fun while she used the marker pens, to colour some of it in, so I then got her to colour half the butterfly in marker pens and the other half with aqua painters to see which she liked the best, as you will see in the picture below she choose the aqua painting way and the outcome is amazing, Hayley did this by herself with me just directing her occasionally, and I think you will agree she made a fabulous job 🙂 Well done Hayley 🙂

The next day I went with my Mom-in-law to St Oswalds Retirement village, we had three tables there with my cards and gift boxes for sale and had a good day there.
Spent the rest of the week preparing for my first Gift box/bag making class of this year that I held yesterday, I had two new Ladies at this class and oh my did we have some fun, (I love my job!!!) we made three boxes/gift bags each see the photo’s below to see the Ladies and their makes, I’m sure you will see what a fabulous job Sam and Nicky made.
Both Sam and Nicky choose to use different colours for their boxes so it just goes to show how amazing they look.
If anyone would like to come to classes and join in the fun, then just pop on over to the classes part of my website and book in, or give me a call/email and book in that way.
Have a great week everyone 🙂
